Stranger Things 2

Stranger Things 2

Back in 2016 Matt & Ross Duffer introduced us to a group of Dungeons & Dragons playing nerds, riding around early 80’s Hawkins, Indiana on BMX bikes and we fell in love!

Well our wait is over people, Netflix has finally dropped Stranger Things 2! We were worried that it wouldn’t live up to the hype and they’d over Eggo’d how good it would be, but let me tell you having just binged watched the whole 9 hour season the Duffer brothers have more than delivered. The opening Ghostbusters scene in particular is not only hilarious but sets the tone for the while series.

The original 4 kids plus eleven are back and Dustin (our favourite character) now has a new set of purring pearly whites. Grrr. Dynamics in the group are altered through the arrival of new kids Max and her unpredictable older brother Billy. 80s child star Sean Astin (Bob Newby) is a superb addition to the cast playing another unlikely hero, whilst Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper (David Harbour) get even more badass which we didn’t think possible.

So what can you expect? Rotting pumpkins, Steve’s bat, The Mind Flayer and the odd nose bleed. Friends don’t lie, it doesn’t get much better than this.
